NETWATCH
I've not tried this myself, but apparently a new tab has been added to Google Earth to enable
you to see aerial data from 1945. The resolution is said to be not very good and the coverage
is patchy, but it does sound interesting.
An observation about the new Southend Airport station: "There is no obvious route to the
Airport signposted, and looking for the terminal from the station footbridge you can't actually
see one!"
